Overview:
 
The program reviews the differences between an unsafe condition and an unsafe act in a way for supervisory personnel to understand the behavior factors, which result in an employee’s failure to follow prescribed safety procedures. Using the information presented, supervisory personnel can better motivate employees to make safe choices. Learning 

Objectives: 

• Understand the motivation behind an unsafe act; 
• Understand the different types of personalities and how to adjust supervisory methods to match the employee type; and 
• Understand how to affect an employee’s behavior to make safe choices.
